SCHEELS Hometown Heroes
SCHEELS and American Heroes Outdoors partner together to honor military service members and first responders in local communities. After witnessing the traumatic events of combat and emergency response, many of our heroes enjoy the comforts and therapeutic nature of the outdoors. American Heroes Outdoors chooses 13 heroes and travel across the USA to create videos sharing their true, compelling stories of service and sacrifice. They are all great examples of having a positive impact on their communities and we are extremely thankful for them!
Nominate a Hero
The best part of all of our Hometown Hero's is that they are humble and don't seek out recognition, even if they are deserving of it! If you know a hero in your community, nominate them to share their story and be honored as the next SCHEELS Hometown Hero. We are reaching out to as many heroes as possible as we film each season. To qualify, the hero can be any member past or present of the Military, or First Responders (Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS) who are still active in their communities and have a story to tell!
